Aspirants who wanted to apply and get admission into 1st year B.Sc. Nursing courses under Directorate of Medical Education, Assam for the session 2024, will be able to submit application starting from May 9th, 2024.

Qualification Required SSUHS B.Sc. Nursing

Candidate who has cleared the Higher Secondary (10+2) Science or Equivalent Examination from a recognized Board/ Council/ University with English as one of the subjects and securing at least 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology for General category candidates, 45% marks for PWD candidates and 40% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ ST(P)/ ST(H) category without grace marks.

However, the students who have appeared Higher Secondary (10+2) Science Examination in 2024 and awaiting for their HS results are also eligible to appear in the Entrance Examination. They will be considered as provisionally eligible at the time of application. However, they shall have to upload their HS (10+2) marks in the application portal as and when the result is declared.

Gender: Only female candidates may apply under Govt. of Assam. For male candidates, may apply for CEE 2024, for admission into Institutes under Private Sectors.

Age: Candidates minimum is should be at least 17 years as on 31st December 2024 to be eligible.
