SCERT Assam D.El.Ed Admission Pre-Entry Test (PET)

As we all know, due to limited seats available, The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Assam conducts Pre-Entry Test every year. Candidates who apply for SCERT Assam D.El.Ed Admission needs to appear and qualify the Pre-Entry Test. SCERT PET is the mandatary qualifying test for the candidates to get admission into the SCERT 2 years diploma course in elementary education.

SCERT Assam D.El.Ed Admission Eligibility

To become eligible to apply for Assam SCERT D.El.Ed course, candidate needs to check the following eligibility criterias.

Educational Qualification

The candidates should have completed Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination from recognized Boards/Councils with at least 50% marks in aggregate excluding marks secured in extra optional.

Candidates belongs to to SC/ST category, will get relaxation of 5% of marks in aggregate. So the particular category candidates need to obtain at least 50% marks in aggregate in HS or it’s equivalent.

Seat Reservation

There is a category basis seat reservation system available as per the Reservation Policy for the OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P), ST(H), and Person with Disability (PWD) categories.

Age Limit

Candidates aged between 18 years to 34 years as on 1st July 2024 are eligible to apply for SCERT Assam D.El.Ed Admission. Candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) and ST (H) categories will have a upper age relaxation of 2 years.
