SCERT Assam D.El.Ed. Admission 2023 : SCERT Assam is inviting online application from the candidates who are willing to take admission into Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) Course. Eligible candidates will have to appear a pre entry test and selected candidates will get chance to take admission into the D. El. Ed. course of SCERT, Assam.

This diploma course will be conducted in the NCTE recognised teacher education institutes (DIET/ CTE/ Normal School/ BTC/ Pvt. TEls) across the Assam state. Candidates waiting to take admission into D.El.Ed. Course can now submit online application at the SCERT Assam Official Website https://scert.assam.gov.in.

What is SCERT Assam D. El. Ed. course?

This is a 2 years diploma course and the minimum qualification required to apply is HS passed. The Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) course is offered by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Assam to provide training to aspiring teachers about the knowledge require to become a teacher in future.

SCERT Assam D.El.Ed. Admission Pre Entry Test

Every candidate wish to get admission into the SCERT Assam D.El.Ed. course, have to appear Pre Entry Test (PET) and qualified candidates will get chance for further admission process.

The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has already declared the date for D.El.Ed. Admission Pre Entry Test (PET) 2023. The test will be held on 10th September 2023 (Sunday). Candidates will get the examination centre details on the PET admit card which is likely to be released From 1st September 2023 Onwards. Not to worry, the exam centres will be within the candidate’s home districts only.

Qualification Required to Apply for D.El.Ed. Admission

To apply for D. El. Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education) admission, the following criteria’s should be matched to be eligible

1. Educational Qualification: The candidate must have completed Higher Secondary (12th pass) or its equivalent examination from recognized boards/councils.
2. Minimum Marks: The candidate must have obtained at lease 50% marks in in aggregates excluding optional/extra subjects. Candidates belongs to SC/ST(PV/ST(H) category the minimum required marks is 45% in aggregate.

Other Eligibility Criteria’s for Admission

Age Limit : Candidate aged between 18 years to 34 years as on 1st July 2023 are eligible to apply. Also candidates belongs to SC, ST(P) & ST(H) category will get 2 years age relaxation.

Application Fee : Candidates will require to pay Rs 600/- as application fee while submitting online application for D. El. Ed. Admission. The payment can be made through online modes available on the application portal.

Resident-ship : Candidates who are parmanent resident of assam state are only eligible to apply for this course.

• Read the instruction given on Online Application form for Admission Process for (D. El. Ed.) course (2023-2025) portal and proceed to Registration.
• Register in the Portal using valid Mobile Number and ensure to keep the number with you during the admission process.
• Fill the complete application form carefully without any mistake and submit.
• Enter the Academic Details, Photo, Sign.
• Make the payment of application fee in online mode.
• Submit the application and take print-out of the form submitted for future use.

SCERT Assam D.El.Ed. Admission Selection Process

• The selection for admission into SCERT Assam D.El.Ed. Course will be based on the marks candidates will receive in the SCERT Assam PET 2023 exam.
• As per the notification, The final Merit list (Score & rank list) for the admission based on the Pre-Entry Test will be published on the website on 20th September 2023.
• After release of the Result, the SCERT, Assam will be notified the date for counselling for the admission into D. El. Ed Course.
