As per the Railway Recruitment Cell, Central Railway notification, total number of vacancy is for 2424 positions. The posts includes the trades viz. Fitter, Welder, Painter, Carpenter, Tailor, Electrician, Machinist, Programming & Systems Administration Assistant, Mechanic Diesel, Turner, Instrument Mechanic, Lab Assistant, Sheet Metal Worker, Computer Operator & Programming Assistant, etc trades.
Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Eligibility
To apply for railway apprentice recruitment 2024 candidate needs to have qualify certain eligibility criteria mentioned on the official notification. Here is the eligibility criteria’s mentioned below.
Educational Qualification – Candidates wish to apply must have at least 10th passed or its
equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate from any of the recognized Board.
ITI / NTC – Candidates should have National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training / State Council for Vocational Training.
Age Limit – Applicants aged between 15 to 24 yrs as on 15-07-2024, are eligible to apply. Upper age relaxation is available as per below categorywise –
- SC/ST candidates – 5 years
- OBC candidates – 3 years
